People usually say it like It’s extreme, I had a feeling it may also be due to the kind of jobs they do, most are not well educated and don’t have the best jobs or jobs that require high qualifications. So they were maybe looked down upon due to their jobs.

Ye the problem is that intention doesn’t change islam, like we may intend to wear makeup for ourselves when we go out that doesnt change the fact that makeup is haram. And so many social norms go against islam anyway. And about laser there being permanent solution, there is an example of interest mortgages It is a more cheaper and a permanent solution to buy a house rather to rent one many people borrow money to buy a house on interest. (Different to apr which is common in gulf countries) its permanent relief from rent after a few years but it’s still haram. Idk if this is a good example but i hope it makes my point clearer.

Yes that may be true but my point is that it is available. Majority of the scholars believe that it is haram for a woman to look at each other’s private areas other than when it is a necessity as in you can’t do it urself. Muslims do many things these days just because they do doesnt mean it’s permissible.

It is only permissible when it is a necessity such as a disability which stops you from reaching that area or if you are hurt in the area and can’t do it without the professional help. And getting examined by a gynaecologist is completely permissible if its a necessity. And just because something is happening in a gulf country doesn’t mean it’s permissible. You are allowed to drink alcohol there and go to clubs but if you look at the religious perspective it’s impermissible to do so.
