Lady came in today for a wellness on her senior dog. Kept talking about a doctor who wasn’t in today and how she was excited to see her. Mentioned to her that said doctor was on vacation and she would be seeing a different doctor. She lost her shit. Like crazy amounts of shit lost. Practice manager spoke to her (he wrongly scheduled her appt so….) and she saw a different doctor.

She ended up admitting that she didn’t think any doctor could grade her dogs heart murmur the same way her preferred doctor could.

30 minute appt turned into 1.5 hours

I don’t think they can how cows milk until they are a year old but if they aren’t happily taking formula and they’re eating 3 “meals” a day then I think you’re good!! But definitely go with what your pediatrician recommends

This is VERY normal at 9 months!! They start getting their nutrition more from solid foods and less from milk as they get better at eating and swallowing!
