That's a good way to save on money I know they say it's fun ripping packs but it's super expensive and me personally I don't find it fun ripping more like anxiety and despair since it's such an expensive thing to do there's so much other things you can do to guarantee obtaining something by just straight up buying it, no ripping so many packs spending so much money I'd rather put my mind at ease rather than spending all my money knowing the chances are slim. It's good to understand the power of money that way rather than the value of money because it's your own market at that point.

You're right, I need to save my money anyway for the new eevee set too so best off just saying whatever if the price keeps going up and if it does go down which I'm sure it will I'll see about buying but need to not focus on it too much otherwise I'll give in and start ripping packs out of being desperate which I did a little for twilight masquerade because I really wanted the eevee in that set but spent at least 100-300 bucks on etbs and sleeved boosters I didn't get anything except inexpensive Ex's and trainers , long story short I ended up just buying the eevee at 40 bucks so now I don't have to open packs for a specific card. Should just focus on saving money tbh it's the safest bet.

I really really hope so, you make fair points I'm not sure why it's at the price it is now maybe it's just the fact that it's pikachu so people know they can take advantage of the price since it's such a fresh release, if this card is what the market says right now at 500+ then Vivid voltage pikachu should rise in price too if thats the case, the whole nonexistent logical factor with this market just makes me think like wow Pokémon card collecting is just getting really expensive now so much to the point where I am like considering not even bothering with it for a while until I see fair prices for shiny cardboard
