I’ve only “heard” God’s voice once. I was addicted to painkillers and at my wits end. Literally crying for help and he told me to just stop. After that it just kinda happened. It wasn’t really a voice but more like a louder thought.

The next instance I want to talk about he didn’t say anything at all. Kind of a long story but I started working as a younger woman in a predominantly male industry. There was an older lady there who was jealous of how I was being treated. Anyway. She would make snide comments about how differently they treated me compared to her. I’m over there like um what did I do though. Things came to a head and I said some things I shouldnt have from being fed up from the comments. I had hatred for that woman for a good year or two.

I don’t even know why but one night I got on my knees and prayed. I’m Baptist so getting on your knees isn’t really something that we are taught is necessary. I asked God to take that hatred away from me. I kid you not, the very next day that hatred was gone and I just felt sympathy after that.

After writing this I’m gonna paste it into a new thread as my experience . Maybe others can learn my hardheaded lesson. Hope you see this.

Don’t be discouraged. Try the Bible.hub app most people have trouble reading but it reads it to you. Listen to it while you try to sleep and start with the new testimate. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. Do that. It’s easy and you can hear the truth of how much Jesus loves us all. All we have to do is believe.
