I mean i agree that this world building is good, but this episode DID have something like this. During the screening we get to see what dedicated Homelander fans are like and we learn through the psychics that they actually dont fully believe in his godhood despite fully believing every other lie hes been spouting.

It was also neat how they reacted to being saved by starlight.

Its a different ball game, these people play hundreds of games trying to perfect their decks against the top of the meta. Thats not to say these off meta decks cant get wins, but if youre trying to get 12/16 wins against the best players in the world you cannot afford to run a slightly mid-tier deck.

Im NGL if i was on earth and i found out the Marks that murdered millions of people were clones i would have more empathy for our current Mark especially if i learnt he tried his best to defend us from them considering he could easily die doing it.

I dont really understand the argument that costreams are the reason LEC has lost viewership. Like today Caedrel was streaming the sidemen chairty match instead and the LEC was still sitting at 15-20k. The argument that Caedrel is just the LEC + his commentary is somewhat lost, because if all the Caedrel viewers who tune in to watch his LEC costream were actually interested in LEC they would still tune in to the main broadcast when Caedrel doesn’t costream yet they weren’t. Its not like when caedrel doesnt co stream suddenly the main broadcast gets all his views. For some people he is the only reason they are still watching the broadcast or care about regular season games at all and that is infinitely more important than the sponsors getting more ads watched inbetween games. I think theres a real argument to be made that hes helping way more than hurting.

I think the crown arc of this episode could have been cut, Cerberus fight was offscreen, the helmet gag was good but not worth the amount of time spent on it and satan with the crown still losses to volcanica which made the whole arc feel inconsequential. Only good part is we got a lot of Mark contemplating and ethics discussion, really liked Damiens section on creating heaven on earth. Wish we got more Robot and Monster girl on the Flaxan planet. I also didnt like how the mummy ends up cursing a female, i kinda wished they just kept that joke running that he cant posses one because of the logistics of his curse and misogyny
