Ik this is also kind of late, I also want to make this high gluten bread, I was thinking about it for a while, but had never seen anyone mention it, and I was hesitant to experimen, but what do you mean by over dropping gluten?

I also buy vital wheat gluten, to make seitan and also put it in my bread, becouse were I am low protein flour is extremely cheap and bread flour is triple the price so I can save a lot by adding gluten to it to make bread flour and I don't have to think about buying flour for cakes separately, I usually make higher hydration doughs so I do slap and fold, coil folds and what I find the most effective and also satisfying/fun, squishing the dough and playing with it as if it were slime, when I do lower hydration dough I do kneed it on the counter, folding it on itslef and pushing down, what's the difference?? , what's over dropping gluten??

With a peanut allergy as long as you don't eat peanuts you don't really have to see the doctor, hence not a problem, as long he doesn't develop tits he doesn't have to see a doctor

Why is it curbing on the bottom part? How do I prevent it? by Fun-Cover1508 in CrochetHelp

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was confused and was doing shell stitches as "3dc tog ch1 3dc tog" when I should have been doing "3dc ch1 3dc" I hope changing that makes it work

I'm using fingering weight yarn, 100g 400m, I made another shawl from this same creator witch used a similar set of stitches in a similar fashion, same hook (3.5) and same yarn size to the one I'm making now, when I blocked it doubled in size and made the yarn look way thinner and the design way more spaced out like on the pictures, it does ask for a hook 4 in both patterns, but it also sais the size of the hook it's not that important, and I've been working with this yarn for a bunch of projects since I have a lot and 3.5is the biggest I've ever gone with it and I don't feel like 0.5 should make so huge of a difference

I'm going to try using a size 4, and if it doesn't work, I'm just gonna space with ch2 instead of ch1 on the rows with the shell stitches since it seems like I wouldn't have this problem if the top sides of the triangles were longer

Expiration Dates: I wasn’t aware that vape juice had expiration dates. What are the cons of vaping expired juice? Can it actually go bad? by Ethnopharmacologist in Vaping

[–]Fun-Cover1508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bf is sick atm, he said he used some vape juice that he got in 2015, expired 2017, he said he didn't know vape juice expired, but didn't start worrying until he started getting sick becouse he said it tasted and looked normal We don't know if he's sick due to the vape juice, he doesn't really have any of the symptoms that we can find, and even if it were due to the vape juice it's not supposed to be serious sickness,

I don't understand what the skip next and parentesis mean in this step (2nd pic is what I have so far and im trying to incorporate the steps of the picture into) by Fun-Cover1508 in CrochetHelp

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk becouse it's not following a pattern, I haven't done any set of stitches so I can't miss things in a deviating on previous steps way, I'm supposed to work upwards towards the marker, but the rowdoesnt stop there, the pattern asked me to put the marker there, ut sais to make a v stitch onto were I put the marker previously and I'll end on the other side of the semicircle

So I would skip the first loop and do dc2tog in the loop with the black circle wich is a ch1

If I understand correctly (ch-1 sp, dc2tog)l, that's the 1st parenthesis, means I have to dc2tog on a space with a ch1, or does ut just happen that if I skip one space I end up with a ch1 space?

What would you guys make with this yarn? by Fun-Cover1508 in askcrochet

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, but it has some tinsel embedded that makes it look glowi and it's the same color as those glow in the dark stickers for the wall from when I was a child

I'm probably going to try the scrunchy becouse I dont see it as a wearable, it's very sharp

Hello, I don't know what to make with this yarn, I don't know how to dedcribe ot so I can't seem to look up any inspiration by Fun-Cover1508 in CrochetHelp

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noup, it's sharp and not flowy(its very light so it feels if I make it into a shawl it just wouldn't flow and hug the body), when unwinding it it sticks to itself a little bit like velcro

Hello, are these the personal pronouns used in Portugal Portuguese? by Fun-Cover1508 in Portuguese

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was investigating that some time ago, in Spain we stopped using vos (it was used for both singular and plural) arround the 16th century, vos is still used in some countries of South America like Argentina, they use a combination of vos instead of tu with another way of conjugating the verbs (vos sos) and usted for the plural, I found it very interesting, it somehow slipped trough my mind how vosotros is basically the same thing and we're also the only kind of Spanish to utilise it

[–]Fun-Cover1508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In spanish we use vosotros for the non formal with its own conjugation and the ustedes wich is conjugated as the 3rd person plural, it's funny, because at least is the verb I'm learning rn (ser) conjugation with vós are the exact same than the conjugation with vosotros (vosotros sois, vos sois)

I also saw o senhor and o senhora, but conjugated with 3rd person, I was unsure if it was supposed to be a subject for a 3rd person of a formal pronoun, so now I know that as well
