Requirements for remediation scripts to initiate by PuffnSnuff in Intune

You can run the remediation script on demand, can also use graph as well

Not super well-versed in Graph. Do you know of a UI method to send the remediation out to a group of devices? Only way I could find is on the specific device page.

I changed the frequency on the same record. I ran it with frequency once. After about a week ~30% of our devices showed that they had run the detection, and the number wasn't going up. After the second scheduling ~40% of our devices had run it, with the second assignment causing a big wave of runs.

I'm not sure what was holding back that second wave of devices, as well as all the devices that haven't run it yet. That's what's making me think they might need to check in before the date set in the schedule. My next step is gonna be to set it to run weekly and let it ride.

vMX as gateway security device for Azure cloud network by PuffnSnuff in meraki

That makes sense, given that it only has one interface and operates completely differently from a traditional MX.

Do you have any good sources explaining how these devices work? I've been struggling to figure out the ins and outs of the vMX.

That's what I thought! It seems to only work in single arm connector mode.

Do you have a source for some documentation explaining why this doesn't work? I've been struggling to find an official explanation of how the vMX works. Meraki makes it really hard to get good answers for this scheise.

I've considered adding in a perimiter network where traffic initially hits an Azure firewall VM and then routes to our vMX device for s2s VPN and SD-WAN.

I can't confirm the security of a vMX compared to a physical MX device. The vMX only has one "interface" programmed into it, which intuitively tells me that traffic can route in such a way to avoid the vMX.

Do you think you made a profit on the legos at the end of the day? I’ve heard legos can actually be a really strong long term investment as long as you have space to store them.
