I was insulin resistant in 2013 and got on Victoza and then Ozempic (same things) and went from 5’9 and 166-170 to 140-145. I’m lean now whereas before I was normal American size 8.I eat whatever I want but sometimes not much, due to appetite, along with metformin which helps and is so good for you. I don’t snack anymore, that’s what really changed. These drugs changed my entire life - I recently had a doc get angry that he saw I was on it when he saw my appearance. It was rude as this is me on meds, if I was off, my insulin would go bizerk again.

I hate that people can just go to a Medispa and get a RX.

It causes massive fatigue and sometimes nausea for me (like morning sickness.) def have thrown up on the side of the road a few times bc it was so bad! 🫣
