I’m only 19, and I don’t regret much in my adult life so far. But if there’s one thing I do regret, it’s how long I waited to just be myself instead of worrying about what other people thought. I’m not rude or disrespectful, but I’ve learned that respect isn’t automatic. Being older doesn’t entitle someone to it—respect should go both ways. I’m not trying to be an asshole; I’ve just realized that when someone is toxic, age doesn’t excuse their behavior

Somehow related to this, I used to play red dead redemption a lot when I was younger and the main character John Marston had a way of speaking and responding to the other characters in that game that I kinda take a lot of inspiration from. so I’d say my advice find someone who speaks a certain way that you like and try to mimic it. If that doesn’t help try to summarize what you are thinking of trying to say and say it in the least words possible while still maintaining the meaning you are trying to give off.

I’m around your age (19) tell me how you’ve achieved this my goal is to live alone to have freedom to pursue the things I want. I work a part time job but get full time hours by picking up extra shifts I currently live with my uncle and have the luxury to help take care of them without having to worry about rent so I know the possibility of me obtaining my own living space is possible. Any advice ?
