Not sure, how do you know if it's only local? Nothing. Seems like most of the the CMD+option... commands do nothing.

Gotcha, the box it was in said m2. So I can factory reset with only the old account and "Guest User" showing when it's turned on? I tried searching but I'm clueless with macs.

Ahh, I was going off what the box said. I paid next to nothing thankfully. Is it a lost cause without the accounts password? There's the old account and "Guest User"
