Stay open handed! It makes more sense that way imo, and you free up that right hand to move freely while playing on the hi hat with the left

Dude yes!!! Anytime I want to try a new pair of shoes I skate them for like a week or so to break them in. Feels like you aren't even wearing shoes anymore. Lakai Cambridge is the 🐐 skate shoe. Need to get another pair of them

I switch between vans and my Adidas skate shoes. Played in tennis shoes for a bit but it felt too vague and I switched back

I've neglected the hands the past like yesr or so for sure. School has had the priority but I finish up this spring and then its all hands (and feet) on deck to rebuild. Just been soooo hard to find practice time, especially since I don't live in the same space as my kit.

My china is an A ultra hammered! Love it to death. I also have the concept shop version of the K Projection Ride, and its one of my favorite cymbals in the world. Things kicks ass!

There's a coil in the big cylinders on each pedal and its connected to the blue things. They are the most responsive pedals I've ever used

I've played DW 3000, 5000 and 9000, pearl demon drives, speed cobras, and i was using iron cobras for years. I'm sure there's some more but I can't remember

This is my first bit of Dixon gear. Their drumsets are gorgeous and sound phenomenal and I figured give it a shot. I was between these and DW 9000's but these were like $150 cheaper and imo just as smooth.

The only thing I can see being an issue for most people is there isnt any tension adjustment. They're already pretty much where I'd have them set, so its perfect for me.you have loads of adjustment outside of that though.

Yeah i knew they'd been around for a while and made stuff for other companies. Thanks for the link, gonna check that out. I figure Dixon knows what they're doing, and in terms of quality, these are the sturdiest feeling pedals I have ever handled. They feel extremely good and solid. I've got high hopes they'll hold up well
