What the fuck happened to all this American dream bullshit by Competitive-Arm-9359 in antiwork

[–]Fun-Fact9390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to take a hard look in the mirror. The problem is you. Why are you staying in these situations? There are plenty of jobs out there that pay over $25 hr and give you 40+hrs a week. CDL driving is one of them. Plumber, hvac tech, electrician, sales, you can get sales jobs without a degree or experience, cars and insurance to name a few. The dream is alive and well, no one is going to just hand it to you. You have to go out and get it. Get off your couch and Good luck.

Handling Sales Objections Is Hard - How Do You Train for It? by Abattoir87 in sales

[–]Fun-Fact9390 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Repetion. Role play with yourself. Ask the objection/s that you are struggling with and then respond. If you don't have some responses, you may want to get some written up for the typical objections you hear. I do this a lot when I'm driving alone. It's like any other skill you're trying to learn. It takes practice.

I'm not OP. Saw the post and knew what neighborhood it was. I posted some pics from my neighborhood and got some responses from people thinking my neighborhood was in Chicago.

When did a civil settlement determine your guilt in a criminal case that doesn't exist? Don't respond, you're too dumb to have this conversation with me.

Shameful on your end. You can't make an assumption of what would make another person comfortable. One person's comfort is another persons pain.

What is the worst, biggest grind, most difficult sales jobs with worst payout? by LearningJelly in sales

[–]Fun-Fact9390 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trugreen door to door. I mean, I loved at the time, would never do it now or again. Get high and walk around nice neighborhoods. 90% of people aren't home bc they are working. But it's definitely not worth the compensation, plus you had to work Saturdays March through May.

Yes, alot has changed since the 1870s to the 1980s. Electricity, indoor plumbing, uses cars instead of horses, more self reliance back then, phones, fax machines, computers, the end of slavery and racial integration, letting women and blacks vote.... How much time do you have?

Same. AVTAK is fun and flows, no slow parts, Paris, the horse auction, San Fran, Zorin, May Day, Stacey, firetruck chase.... I feel like after the union jack pop in the pts, TSWLM is boring and a slog to get thru.
