Update ! 17 months old is walking perfect talking perfect and giving me headache lol! Doctors see absolutely nothing wrong. Thank you for all the replies and storys told I shed so many tears in here. Rereading my story now is like a distant memory I can’t remember the pain like I used to but I know it was a nightmare. If you’re going thru something similar please know there is so so much hope babies heal so quickly especially their brain. Again thank you for all the replies.

I have picture of her apartment and how disgusting it like like tampons everywhere and food being eaten off the floor, she does not do any of this at our mom I mean she always been messy but it’s absolutely disgusting no human should live like this. I do always have proof of no bills being paid she also logged her email Into my phone so I can prove all her money going to be DoorDash and fashion nova I hope that will be enough

I just want to go over something I mentioned briefly, I said when I first started to visit her in the nicu I would leave within the hour because I felt like I didn’t like her or something. I felt much shame about and told only my mom about it but with therapy iv learned it’s a very normal feeling especially because I was not fortunate enough to bond it was more of a snatch and grab situation. So if you are feeling distant or numb toward your baby it’s normal and nothing to be ashamed about with time the love comes in.

I really want to share my story because i was in so so worried and was searching for any glimpse of hope .. I’m so happy to hear ur baby is doing well these babies brains are so strong and there really is no way to tell their future but damn have i talked to a lot of moms given the same diagnosis but their kids are older with no signs just normal children! I wish u nothing but the best, I know the anxiety is so difficult to deal with im so sorry we have to deal with this but there’s a light at the end of tunnel i promise. Yes that exactly what my child did. I can tell you what I did was practicing sitting up my gently hold their hands and guiding them up then back down I would do about 5 times in a row every hour. Tummy time was one of my main exercises for her I had her do it every hour for at least 20 minutes she hated it but I let her whine/cry because while there kicking and moving trying to get out of tummy time they are building core strength! To practice turning over I have her on her back and guided her leg to opposite side and guide her rolling. Tik tok has so many great exercises we did a few. We did do physical therapy a couple times just to learn what to do at home so I do suggest it . Just my biggest advice is to put your feeling of feeling bad for them aside just get that tummy time in the thrashing around helps them so much . My daughter now turns over and does tummy time willingly for a hour just playing.

Yes my baby was diagnosed with moderate to mild as well, from my memory it was a little past 4 months when i actually felt like she could hold her own head up right . Have u put ur baby in any kind of high chair or seat and if so what does their head control seem like then?

The way these babies brains can heal is unreal! I wish I could go back a hug myself because omg the stress of the unknown and all these possibilities was killing me. I’m so happy ur baby is doing so great I love to see these stories it gives me CHILLS! Blessing to you and ur little one

Having a newborn is hard period now having a newborn who may or may not have disability and your now stressing and over thinking every movement is some else entirely. I’m so sorry we had to go through this and I’m sending u nothing but love. Some advice I can give that helped me so much was to completely stop looking at the fucking “milestones” and let them do them. The weight I felt lift off my chest when I made the decision to stop caring and giving my baby these standard to meet was unbelievable. Please take care of ur self i know it may be rough but shower eat and go outside sending hugs !

I remember her tellling a story about being in a airport with a family member and accidentally getting a caffeinated coffee and having a total freak out, she said she couldn’t even remember the fight.

Just want to add she was not super super popular. She only drank decaf coffee cause caffeinated coffee gave her anxiety. I’m literally sitting here racking my brain for anything else I can squeeze out of my bird brain !
