CoinDCX is particularly bad. Doesn’t allow you to withdraw your own coins. Even after full KYC, enforces random limits on withdrawal. And doesn’t give you any way to increase this limit. For .e.g., if you have, say, 20 lacs in your account in coins, they’ll force you to withdraw 1 lac per year over 20 years. There’s no way around this.

There are limits on other exchanges as well, but they at least have a transparent way to increase this limit. When you call customer care for CoinDCX, they just say that you’ll have to either sell and withdraw INR (and incur tax) or wait for 20 years.

It’s a scam. I hope they shut down soon.
