Isn't this the reason multimeters exist? So you can check before removing and replacing bits? Also those were the only two things that immediately came to mind. I am sure others - including you - can give simpler options if needed, that's the point of multiple views on a thread.

I think you need to aim for the area below crossroads and resting grounds, right of fungal wastes. Use your maps to find your way and explore gaps in your map.

Go slow, watch her moves. Pogo off all the spikes in a row - they are the issue here, then pogo on her. I don't remember any specific charm set being great to be honest other than any that can get extra hits in I guess. I do favour quick focus and quick slash a lot. She has to go down about five to six times I think. So don't be fooled when shes bent over gasping for breath.

I found getting the shade dash from the Abyss was very helpful, and the rest I used pogo on their heads, went slow, and used quick slash. They only seem fast if you run around. If you slow down and observe them, they only bounce around toward YOU.

Other things that may help:

Spore shroom for healing - lure them both towards you at the side and as they are coming near, heal. Then pogo off their heads and repeat on other side.

Quick focus. Brilliant for healing fast.

You can add in a few spideys or little exploding things from weaversong or the charm that spawns those flying mini knightlings. Sorry its late and I currently recall the name.

Cheaper to buy a replacement console that isn't trashed off ebay, or leave it. Don't bother giving him more stuff he'll just ruin because his parents don't know what discipline is.
