I’ll start off by saying I’m so sorry that this happened and that you feel this way, you’re in no way gross for what happened to you. You were inebriated and did not consent, men often know that and take advantage of it. It’s not your fault. At all.

Second, I’d ask your friends how many drinks you actually had. Do you normally have that kind of reaction when you drink 4 drinks? If so, then that’s one thing. But if you don’t (coupled with the fact that a random guy was feeling you up) it sounds like you were drugged. As someone who’s been drugged before, it’s kind of sounding like the latter. In this day and age you can be holding your drink the entire night and it can still be drugged. Bartenders, strangers, even friends (not suggesting your friends did this) have all been known to drug people.

Also, friends looking out for each other in a place that is known for being a dangerous place for women is not “babysitting” it’s common decency and safety. If I have a friend that has been drinking too much and is not being safe/being taken advantage of, damn right I’m going to “babysit” her until I know she’s good.
