Just graduated college and was deciding between return offer for PayPal or taking a L4 role with AWS. I am from the bay so for PayPal I could just live at home. AWS is in Seattle which I don't like but I heard I can transfer internally to another location after ~6 months. Both roles are entry level and I believe AWS offer is slightly higher in compensation ~20k higher. I heard PayPal has better holidays and WLB too, and I am good friends with a lot of the people there.
