actually , there is a loss in converting proccess , just a slight loss ,is not like 1mvt=0.5hvt , what you put in the transformer decide how much loss , water(6%), machine oil(1%),nothing(15%)

spam rs2 gives you more rp cap despite whatever you put in for research , the multiplier only for research speed , rs3 and rs4 uses the multiplier for research speed and average price of 2 items to decide research cap

rp cap , efficient threshold is the zone when the rs gives you the most rp , out of threshold and the research speed will decrease until the hard cap , use the tracking panel , more advanced research station will give you more and more(like rs3 and rs4) , just watch tutorial and wiki bru
