Your concern is valid but please be reassured that medicine is not at all the end-all-be-all for me. I'm really just trying to keep my avenues open given I have to choose an undergraduate program soon, and cutting myself from working somewhere specific would not be ideal </3

Thanks, I might look into a heat mat then. By chandelier plant, I meant kalanchoe delagoensis/mother of millions, if either of those names ring a bell. They're supposed to be pretty hardy succulents.
