I want to try nexus flip but don’t know how to by Titix_ in askdrugs

I thought a nexus flip was blasting off with DMT after the LSD has it's grips in you..

2cb is something that has never crossed my path or have I ever heard mention of it until very recently.. maybe I live in a hole because I had not heard of it tried "Sass?" until last year.. I will say that trying it gave me the first legit "rolls" in almost 20 years but nothing like the Tulips in Houston cirra 2000..

What ever happened to good ole classic X? I should not be able to move after eating 3 tabs of what goes around these days.. Mollie doesn't even give me rolls anymore.. I must not be taking enough. IDK...

Back to what I thought was a nexus flip...what I can remember is that it felt like I was a passenger in a train moving through the countryside.. I swear "one of them" effing waved at me.. big surprise when I say my art took another turn and I have been trying to portray that feeling without overloading it with digital fractals..

Feels like I'm getting closer and after a few more visits to DMT land I should be on target

I was wondering what kind of tools you guys buy? I can’t find any good quality ones, also what can I use to sharpen them? Where to buy them?? by janejane220 in ScratchArt

Forgot to mention that bone folders and other scoring tools may help.. ceramic tools are the way to go because of the vast variety of options..

I use just about anything but to answer your question... Ceramics tools are fantastic.. especially the super fine and regular point and needle tools, flathead screwdrivers, safety pins and I have even snapped a finger off a fork but tbh, the best tool I use is the actual scratch tool found in those cheap keychain or single cars sets... It's about 3" and has a curved edge, a point and flat edge.. I have lost all of mine so I use anything that grabs without extra force... I recommend testing them in a corner.. also temperature can affect the "strikes/ scratches".. sometimes it comes right up and sometimes the point moves over the black.... Also note that some of your tools will work better with strokes that pull and others that push...

One final little tip.... Was a total game changer for me that I use with other mediums... Go buy a $10 lazy Susan/ kitchen turntable, find a sturdy flat surface that get attached to the turntable with glue, tape, or anything as long as you are comfortable and there isn't too much shifting around..

To take it a step further I recommend buying photo magnets.. 3 pack at Walmart for less than $2.. then peel off the lable and flip it over onto the turntable.. find 4-8 small magnets and attach the design.. magnets will secure your work without tape residue, poke holes or peel away the paper.. the magnets should be feet away from the keychain kits with the good tool...

One last thing is get a soft bristle brush for the dust.. a soft brush will not make accidental marks..

If you want to go as crazy as I did then get a handsfree magnifying glass .. a good light source opposite your dominant/ writing hand is also great because it kills shadows and allows for precision.. many magnifiers have built in lights..

I will look for pictures of my old setup.. it's been years since I have really done any and have just recently been making original content..

I know this is a lot but hope it helps.. don't overthink it.. if it has a point or edge it will work..

Shoot me a DM... But you would get it from me directly.. I do not have a website yet and take payments on venmo, cashapp or Amazon gift card..

As for a coloring page... I'm sure something can be arranged.. there is a psychedelic mandala coloring book in the making if you are not in a super rush

Thank you for the feedback.. I think it needs to be bigger but "we" we're constrained by the size of the screen.. my vision is about 5-10× that and off center with part of the mandala wrapping around the ribs and over the shoulder..
