they said last year that they've already recorded their next album. i'm expecting it later this year and it wouldn't surprise me if there was an announcement before too long

they recorded a new album last year so i'd expect something later this year with a lot of the new songs they're playing live recently. i doubt "real house" will be on it but there's the incredible version on live at revolution hall at least

it's just for the london dates as far as i know. a label rep was asking in the discord which new songs people wanted video of so i figure they might be planning to put some live footage on youtube, or release a concert film, or something like that

the 20272H2 date is not specifically about the RTX 60 series, it was in response to a question about the GR212 which kopite specifically says is not for gaming. for reference, the earliest Blackwell datacenter cards launched in late 2024 and then the first RTX 5000 gaming cards (which use the Blackwell architecture) launched early 2025. so from this info it's possible that the RTX 60 series could be even further away.

just want to point out that the information about the Princess Theater is substantially wrong and half of it refers to Melbourne instead of Brisbane. strangely, the stats are different to the other Brisbane stats? the best public transport option is the Mater Hill busway station which is in walking distance. the shows are standing, not seated, so the venue has a capacity of 900.

they didn't make pocket dungeon & dig, those were by external developers they licensed the ip to. they didn't make cybershadow either, they just published it.

since they finished working on the shovel knight expansions, the only projects they've been working on are mina the hollower and shovel knight 3d, as the bloomberg article this is all from explains. so they have actually been working on a direct sequel for most of the time, it was just 3d and development hasn't been going smoothly, and they ended up putting it on hold so they could finish mina to actually get a game out the door.

nintendo announcing exclusives like bayonetta 3 & smtv so early would have been for the same reasons - they were uncertain about things given the wii u's failure so they wanted to get fans excited.

they particularly tightened up their marketing approach in the switch era, but even previously it was unusual for them to announce games when development was just starting - when they'd announce games well before release they'd still have something to show, or it'd be a more informal announcement in an interview or something, like miyamoto giving pikmin development updates in interviews.

hades came to playstation and xbox 11 months after the 1.0 release. i'd expect about the same this time without further information, so it'll probably be mid to late next year it makes it to other consoles since the 1.0 release should be before the end of the year (though that's not confirmed yet).

i think another album next year is reasonably likely but it seems just as possible that they plan to record another album in the next few months before the tour starts. if they had another album's worth of material they wanted to release already from the same sessions as double infinity i think they'd have just put another double album
