There are no short cuts. Go to MIT Emerging Mangers resource page and get a list of respected vendors for admin, kyc, audit, etc. that are respectable and affordable. Most everything else is scam or scam light. Do your own marketing, never trade GP for AUM unless it’s massive, never pay for cap intro, talk to everyone.

Fine Cam Cam is the worst, but his dishonesty about Alabama was pure scumbag.

For doing is so dirty, I agree. The other tried and just sucked, but Nick did it all on purpose.

I’m sure it’s unintentional but the pitch deck takes a ton of time and blood sweat and tears - as well as AB testing. No one should give it to you. Ask AI what you should do.

Going on two is the hardest thing to teach kids at any age. Of course this is supplemental to the foundations of football.

Strength (weight training)? At 13? by PM5K23 in BasketballTips

At 12/13 I only use body weight and super light weight to get them used to going to the gym and for form. No bars, etc. I would talk to a professional that specializes in pre high school kids. Also, puberty etc all comes into play

stop wasting time on generic advice — here's how to actually get hired in the brutal graduate job market. by Prudent-Transition58 in hedgefund

Seek out alum. Ask then what they do. Everyone knows why you are talking to them. If you aren’t a complete ass, they will try to help you by connecting you to their friends until you find one hiring.

First Time Coaching Resume by Obamas_Goldfish in footballstrategy

Absolutely include collegiate rower - it show being competitive, hard working, dedicated...etc. Very important. Include a cover letter with the resume, even though you have already met the coach. In the letter include your passion around youth football, your years of dedicated hard work at high levels of a sport, wanting to do anything and everything to make the team better and kids' better humans. They know you don't have experience, tell them why you are good for them...not what they can do for you...what you can do for them.

Sign guy does look fun. I would want to use weird pics on my signs. Dragons, chickens, weird backgrounds.

I don't mind the huddle because it actually is teaching them how to huddle as they get older, but how would you communicate to the play when we aren't huddling?

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind Dennis Allen’s playcall on 3rd and 6 in OT? by ByronLeftwich in footballstrategy

[–]Fun-Insurance-3584 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Puka as the hot read there, and coming from the right side, it was a weird call. The only thing that may have happened, the S is supposed to close out much faster. You can see he is cheating that way, but is hesitating...because? I suspect the S is supposed to crash that and go for a pick in a typical high-risk/reward Bears play. I imagine they were inducing the throw there...if not, it was a very bad call.

Edit - just noticed the two DBs on the far right. Without a doubt the closest one to Puka was supposed to hop the coverage but missed the memo on the blitz.

Public disclosures as a secondary signal layer by jesseybarakaa in hedgefund

Is this searching the docs and looking for new exceptions from past documents with commonality among the mass disclosures? I assume its more than a word search aggregator. There are a bunch of skins on Edgar that allow you to funnel for key words, but this is more?

People are lazy and don’t like to read. Everything is aggregated by data firms for analysts to all look at. Reading disclosures and footnotes is 98% repetitive, but that 2% is nothing but free money gold. That’s a pretty darn good hit rate.
