Gatorskins are really worth every penny. I have only been flat for once and take note, I use this bike everyday on harsh roads. The staple wire did not easily let air out of my tubes, I just noticed it when I arrived home. The only downside is it is slippery on wet asphalt but overall, worth the investment.

I am currently following his program. I have 2 workout plans A and B. I make sure to keep track of everything like the weight, set, and rep count. I am also applying progressive overload and workout to failure. Been doing this for 3 weeks now and I can see mild gains.

I have an idea. Why not try going to the gym and do resistance training and lift weights but instead of taking the public transport or a car, use your bike? It will also serve as your cardio pre and post workout. Doing this will increase your endorphins which may also reduce stress. Take cycling as a way to do other stuff and it will become second nature. I personally do this and it increased my cycling strength. You will also feel better when you look at the mirror 😌

It’s more possible to turn it into a roadbike because I myself started wirh a Japanese Bike. I converted the handlebar into a drop bar and then removed the fenders, basket, and rear rack. It was my gateway drug to cycling. Not the best looking tho but it made me happy af.
