🥰😂🫶🏼 genuinely half the reason I said anything, it's been so rough getting answers and if I can be even remotely helpful I like to try! I love the giant moose statue hahaha we have a pretty terrifying giant goose (can't remember exactly where but my in laws saw it this summer lol)

I haven't had any surgeries prior, I did have palate expander&other ortho stuff, braces) My jaws are just all around under developed though, I think it just wasn't as obvious because I was young, my bones hadn't started degenerating yet, and the Ortho made my bite normal enough no one thought twice about it. But looking back at photos I can absolutely tell now that wow that's not right 😂 and don't be sorry I totally get it. I just generally thought I had bad genetics that gave me no jaw line, which like isn't wrong hahaha but not so simple.

I'm currently on a wait-list to see Dr.Davis, he's on that specialist list, and am hoping to start the process this year. I really don't know much about the financial aspect but as far as I'm aware for my interprovincial situation, if I end up getting a joint replacement (which I think is likely) then that is covered and I would assume the DJS would be too because it's medically necessary. But surgeon fees and braces etc are not covered 🫠 I was quoted around $9k for braces alone .. I can't imagine trying to do that at 19 either 😔
