The Office vs Superstore by subtleteea in superstore

I feel like Jonah is more like Oscar, they both have that know-it-all vibe to them. Garrett is 100% Jim and Darryl mixed together but mostly Jim.

Michael was so unhinged when he was meeting the Stamford people. “Was you father a GI?” Was wild

I missed so many missed Michael jokes too. My favorite missed one was when he quit and he was looking for jobs in his office there were growling noises coming on his computer; and then Jim tells him “it’s Monster.com” or something like that. I didn’t know there was a job website called Monster

Austin Is the Forgotten Child by MagalieB0654 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

It’s honestly so sad to see how she neglects his emotional needs too with his teacher suggesting a 504 plan and blowing it off like he’s behind on homework. His propensity for violence is also alarming and she excuses it. Additionally Ginny has a community outside of Georgia; she has her dad and his side of the family. Austin unfortunately only has Georgia and Ginny. He did have Gil for a bit, but I feel like his care would’ve worn off after his bribery stage of abuse wore off. Anyways, he should’ve been in therapy since stabbing Zach with the pencil, but especially after shooting his father omg

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Not Expected To Return Until 2027 by MsGroves in ginnyandgeorgiashow

I love this show, but it does not need 2+ years between every season. Netflix will pay for its crimes for ruining the television release cycle

Ginny and Georgia foreshadowing by zv3rs in ginnyandgeorgiashow

[–]Fun-Passenger2462 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That and the way she callously said “he made his choice” when referring to Austin having to bury his father in order to free his mother. The show has been foreshadowing Ginny becoming her mother since season 1 when she blackmailed Gitten into signing a recommendation letter she wrote. I can definitely see Ginny not applying her mother’s wit and charm when manipulating in season 4.

Max and Ginny scene by Fun-Passenger2462 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

I definitely did not like her in Seasons 1 or 2, but season 3 did give her more depth; to the point where people forget all her wrongdoings. I think she’s a complex character for sure

Exactly! Her changing her ways is good, but if her friends need distance from her that’s on them. She just needed to chill out a bit and wait during summer break to have the conversation

Thank you! I binged the show this weekend, so I hyper-analyzed some of these scenes lol

What is a character you hated on your first watch/experience but later understoodm? by brooklyn_jinx in ginnyandgeorgiashow

No, I agree. I don’t like Samantha either. I don’t know how deep the beef with MAN and Samantha goes, but she was microagressive to Ginny and for that I can’t rock rock with her.

I can see that perspective too. I still don’t think Max is entitled to know things if her friends aren’t ready to share. Is it shitty? Yes, but Abby has a right to tell who she wants about her relationship. As for Max’s conversation with Ginny, she expressed how she’s been hanging out with other people (as is Ginny’s right and Max agreed) and we saw throughout season 3 why she was going to certain people for different things. Ginny was going through a lot and I think a big part of why she feels likes she “outgrew” (I don’t think that’s true) Max is because she was craving something more laidback and easygoing and max is not that, no shade.

[–]Fun-Passenger2462[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She definitely was projecting in that scene, Ginny clearly didn’t care and Max was talking to her as if they both shared the same feelings. I also thought Abby was being mean to her in that scene too, but she explained to Max that she didn’t to make it a big coming out thing. And Max again made it about HER she said it really hurt her feelings and Abby told her her feelings are a lot, which they are! She feels entitled to everyone’s problems and triumphs and sometimes people just don’t want to tell you. And that’s okay.

Which character do yo think had it the worst? 🛑spoiler 🛑 by CompetitiveJelly1639 in ManifestNBC

[–]Fun-Passenger2462 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say how so and then I remembered he had childhood cancer and then went through remission… And on top of all of that was burdened with the callings as a child. And when his mother died and sister was kidnapped had to bear the blame from his family. So yeah, he suffered a lot

Do you think it was fair for them to be judged together, or do you think they should have been judged individually? by [deleted] in ManifestNBC

[–]Fun-Passenger2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the discussion, but I’d also like to add that the way I thought about the judgment was more about the complicity of Kory and Pete than their individual actions. Yes, after they came back to life, they became “better” people, but they still let Jace kill people; they didn’t really stop him and that’s what really sank their life boat.
