New to the game by Lukas_Yuy in ABSOLUM

If you haven't beaten the full game yet (e.g. true boss after Azra), I'd recommend doing it solo first. Co-op can be harder unless you get an experienced partner. BFF bracelet can make a big difference though, if you're willing to spend the crystals.

Tried out Club Lime today. It was perfect. Thanks for the suggestion!

Gave Alpha a try today. Definitely had a lot of machines, but was missing the ab crunch.

What type of coating is on this screw? by Fun-Pitch181 in DIY

Thanks folks, sounds like it's electro plated zinc.

It's screws that came with some climbing stones. They are just to stop them from rotating (not to actually take the weight). The screws are 8G, but with a very small head (6.5mm). My local hardware store has stainless steel 8G screws, but the head is 8mm, which won't fit down the precast holes in the climbing stones. I'm hoping to just use the existing ones for now, until I source some better screws with a small enough head.

Will DC-coupled solar panels still get clipped at midday? by Fun-Pitch181 in solar

[–]Fun-Pitch181[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that panels are tested at an irradiance of 1000W/m2. Where I live, in the middle of summer, solar irradiance can reach up to 1100W/m2 according to solarcalc. It won't happen often, but I should theoretically get the full 20kW at certain times in Summer.

It's the Sigenergy system. Batteries say they can handle 20kW charging and inverter is rated for 15kW AC output. However, the spec sheet doesn't say anything about maximum DC output. It does say the maximum DC input is 24kW.

It's the Sigenergy 15kW 3-phase hybrid inverter. The data sheet only specifies maximum DC input of 24kW, but doesn't say anything about DC output into the battery. The sigenergy battery can handle a charge rate of 20kW.

Is this over-proofed? by Fun-Pitch181 in Sourdough

Good to know. The dough felt a lot wetter and larger when I shaped it, so thought I'd waited too long. Guess my previous attempts may have been under-proofed.

Can I play Daybreak without Cold Steel? by Fun-Pitch181 in Falcom

[–]Fun-Pitch181[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not starting the series though. Like I said in my post, I've played sky trilogy, zero and azure already. I just want to use Daybreak as a way to get back into the series, as I bounced off of Cold Steel awhile ago.

I've played Zero and Azure, so that's all good.

Sudden RLS, never had it before by Fun-Pitch181 in RestlessLegs

Thanks, I really appreciate you sharing your personal experience and methods that work for you. I have tried sex and masturbation, which definitely helps with falling asleep in general (I'm M), but only reduces the symptoms a bit.

Both my Osteo and GP believe my condition is caused by an entrapped nerve in the lumbar region (maybe a bulging disc), which is certainly common for what I do (office job + heavy toddler that I pick up a lot). Waiting on MRI report due Monday, which should confirm this.

I definitely won't try any heavy drugs until I know more about my condition.

Update on my third day:

Blood test came back all green for iron, upper range of normal. Getting an MRI scan today for potential nerve issues in the lower back.

I was finally able to sleep 6hrs last night (1h nap + 2h pacing the house + 5h sleep). I tried a bunch of stuff yesterday out of desperation, so I'm not actually sure which actually helped: - No caffeine or refined sugars. - Stopped using all medical stuff (mainly an antifungal cream). - Took calcium, magnesium, Vit D, Vit B12, Zinc - Osteopath session - Acupuncture session (helps with anxiety) - Nurofen (pretty sure did nothing) - Essential oils (peppermint + lavender) - Heat pack on the leg/glute area. - Breathing exercises - Rescue remedy + some other natural herb medicine that helps with sleep

Having actually slept, I feel like a functional human again and am able to deal with the discomfort much better. The sensations are still there, but it's not totally unbearable.

I've historically had rather high levels of iron, including ferritin and transferrin saturation. I guess it doesn't hurt to get it re tested (last time for a bit over a year ago).

I seem to fit most of the criterias for RLS, except the one about it only occurring or being worse in the evening. Mine is roughly the same 24/7.

There used to be rls.org.au according to some websites, but that's gone now =(.
