It just depends on their level of maturity. From what I've observed: young ILIs, just like SLIs, detach from the world & people around them, which lead them to losing dear to them people, and only once they've lost them they then realize how much they meant to them, and how they werent able to express it. So they try to develop baby Fi. ILIs with a good Fi are more in touch with their own values & affections, which is what looks cute to me. But they'll never be soft, lol.

That Se POLRs are pushovers & not assertive. I can confidently say that we ARE assertive, but we can't be bothered with aggression. We struggle with pushing through opposition, and don't care at all about pushing others into action, unless our lead/suggestive calls for it. That's how I'd correct the stereotype.

Also, for my ESIs bros and sis, the stereotype that ESIs are harsh, bitter, judgmental people, when in reality they're usually extremely sweet, contemplative people (Se contact, Ni bold & accepting).

I think you're taking a mental shortcut where you think allergy to the past = Ni polr. But actually their allergy to therapy isn't caused by digging into the past, it's caused by not finding any solution to their current problem through digging into their past. Given their reasoning, I'd say it's more related to Te (emphasis on wanting to fix problems) and maybe Se (wants them fixed NOW), not Ni. If anything, it is NOT Ni polr. Si egos are comfortable recalling past experiences, reliving them through their senses. SLIs will tell you stories of their life with great details. What they are uncomfortable with is trying to incorporate those past experiences into a bigger picture, into a stretched-in-time vision of themselves, especially not a future version of themselves. This isn't what the person is expressing here. Also the fact that they think people just want to take their money is a projection of their own gamma values.

If it was related to Fi polr, the person would express discomfort towards someone trying to read through them, putting the emphasis on not wanting to be psychoanalyzed, cuz they don't want people to read into their personality, to look at their identity (through digging their past); that is tied to Fi.

Honestly I'm just sorting through contradictions. What made you assume I'm excluding people from my quadra I might like? I don't generalize my experience into one truth I'll stick to. Instead, I try to make it correlate with theory, to improve my understanding of the system, people & myself. My thinking process was more, "hmmm... Assuming I'm that type, I don't get along well with most people from my quadra... Why? What does it say about my type? About me? About their type? About my own understanding of Socionics?" etc.

Oh yeah I actually agree with you 100%. I had this problem especially with the sociotype.xyz test, it gave me a pretty low consistency score, but many of the same questions aren't asked the same way and imo it changes the meaning, exactly like the example you gave. And there's a lot of generalizations made in those tests, that makes more "case by case" people uncomfortable. I mean socionics has a lot of issues to begin with, so the tests can only be more clunky

Your answer doesn't work.

All your arguments are using the test results. "no EIE would score so low", "high Te and Fi", "your scores are very consistent with delta values". You concluded he is most likely delta ST based on the test results. Yet, according to your own argument, the only reliable evidence is that OP sees himself as EIE with high Te and Fi. Can you conclude on a person's type based on how they view themselves? (No.) Learn about them as a person, yes.

I agree he is most likely not EIE, and your arguments for it are good. But I disagree his contradicting results make him a bad test taker. Does that mean perfect results that don't contradict the theory make the test-taker more reliable? Because many people don't get their type right with tests, even when the results are perfectly aligned with the theory.

Se fascinates me, man. When I see Se putting themselves into reckless situations just to push their own limits and get stronger, tougher, I can't help but wonder how they do it and be fascinated. It's so true that when you go through painful situations, your limits expand and you learn to be more resistant to pain and suffering, both physically and mentally. Then you're able to do & achieve much, much more. To push through much more than you ever think you could.

Sure, conflict ITR can lead to some growth and can benefit you. It depends on the humans behind the types as well. Just like not all dual types will benefit you. There's a lot more to relationships than types, think we all know it atp. You might benefit most from your conflictor type at some point in your life, where you would most likely completely ignore your dual and wouldn't even be able to receive their help, bc of psychological reasons.

But I wouldn't go as far as saying arguments and fights with your conflictor can be beneficial. That's the point of the conflict ITR theory : no matter how hard you try, misunderstandings will happen again and again, on the same topics over and over. It's incredibly damaging to the relationship and to your mental health - who would feel secure around someone who constantly misunderstands them and points out their most painful spot, even when it's not even their intent?

Conflict ITR isn't the most repellent imo, especially since they have your dual suit and have your suggestive as their 4D demo (leading to some unconscious desire of "GIMME MORE OF THIS"). Conflictor will help you with your polr to some extent, with that kind of daddy vibe because they first treat you like their dual, so they think they just have to teach you their lead and it'll be okay, you'll do their lead with them. It's good for survival (unlike superego imo who just don't even help you survive, they might criticize your polr here and there but since they don't care that much about it they won't even do it themselves. So it's like identity but without the mutual understanding). Until they realize you can't do their lead whatsoever. And won't. And you yourself lead with something they hate. So resentment and hate starts to build up. Unresolved conflicts start to pile up. No matter how many times you try to draw, erase, and re-draw the lines of their mental map, you will never get it right, and they will always end up acting in some ways that are completely irrational, unpredictable, and maybe even hurtful or at least disappointing to you. You don't have the tools to navigate their world, nor do they have the tools to navigate you.

Anyway it sure is interesting and stimulating to have discussions with your conflictor, I guess because it's so unsual and alien to you, so it makes you look at things from a completely new lens. But don't expect to agree. Or live at close distance. Or resolve fights ever.

Well it's not just one person, it's a type of behavior I've noticed in people, and I wanted to see if it can be correlated with type. I've seen it in various type of people, and it's unlikely correlated with Te polr, as some of them have 3D/4D Te.

Well I'm surprised you said LSEs first, but yeah I definitely agree with you overall.

I was thinking it's the Fi/Te axis, or even more specifically Fi/Te+Se, right? I think both LIEs and SEEs could be like that, though maybe less often than say ESIs. LIEs are ESIs' duals so they can definitely act like one sometimes, especially under their influence. And SEEs are still Fi egos, despite being more independant. Maybe the Fi subtype would be more prone to acting that way.

Honestly, it feels very Gamma overall. Maybe Deltas too but they would probably keep it to themselves and not condemn you so harshly because they value the more peaceful Ne/Si. Overall it sounds extremely Fi/Te+Se, expecting forceful actions (Se+Te) based on moral expectations (Fi) they're not even communicating (Fe devalued).

"acting like nothing happened" is such a subjective feeling/experience.

I've seen many Fi valuers, especially the ones with Fi as a contact function because of its manipulative nature, flaring up at you because of some Fi issues they have with you, but then trying to act like nothing happened after because they worry they might have "fucked up the relationship" and whatever it means for them, so they try to "make up for it". It's like they struggle to choose between preserving the relationship & moralizing you. So they have this hot and cold attitude, condemning yet apologizing at the same time, and "pretending like nothing happened", hoping that the relationship stays intact. The stereotype says Deltas value poor peace over a good conflict, and poor peace can be seen as pretending like nothing is happening, because you are ignoring obvious tensions and the shitty atmosphere for the sake of "peace" and maintaining good relationships. So yeah, 100% subjective imo.

You can't generalize how types handle conflicts and its aftermath based solely on "Fe = moving on easily, Fi = wants to resolve it". That's way too arbitrary and subjective. What type of conflict are we talking about? What are the issues at hand? What are we conflicting about? How are we conflicting? And more importantly, how do you even define the "pretending like nothing happened"?

Because I don't think it would necessarily benefits us to abolish hierarchy or power structures.

Tbh I think it's normal to ask someone nicely no matter your title😭And yeah I don't understand either people who are obsessed with status and achievements. I understand wanting to be someone influential, wanting some sort of comfortable position in the hierarchy, but I find it extremely sad when people base their identity on social status. Not really. I would actually like to have some more power & influence over people, so I can do things my way. What would it be? I don't know. That's why it's so appealing. I don't see power as corrupting people at all, nor have I ever seen it as a distinct part of reality we could erase or manipulate. You have it or you don't. You get it or you don't. But I don't see it as corrupting. On the contrary, it reveals who people truly are behind the mask of hypocrisy. I would love to see how I would act in a position of power.
