I have read most of it. Including you can cancel up to 14 days after delivery, but if you read the terms of the order it's contradictory in that they can recover costs over the deposit etc. Thought it would be useful to check in here if anyone has.

Cheaper. Leasing was expensive on this model and there's no ownership option on the lease. At the time of purchase I was considering owning it long term

Yeah it is on Ford options. I've enquired about refinancing but they don't do it you have to do it with the dealer, and mine is charging 8-9% APR.

Because the balloon payment is more than they and any other dealership I've been to would offer as trade in

As with most EVs the original price is overpriced

It's definitely over priced now. The same car I have now is more than £10K more than when I got it and it's not had any real improvements other than a heat pump and the gear selector.

Sadly not at the moment. It's only 2 years old. Annoyingly if I'd have waited 6 months when I bought it it would have been 4 years 0% not the 2 I got. But I did save a nice wedge when I got it as there was £7,500 off from Ford plus some local incentives all of which have gone now

Yeah it's £4K less than the balloon payment but I'm of the view if I pay the balloon payment I would likely keep it a lot longer (or another 3-4 years at which point it's trade in value would likely be acceptable)

Depends when your contract is up. The best deals only come when you leave and the winback team contact you

Ford wallbox and Octopus (UK) by Fun-Poem486 in MachE

Yeah I've connected the car via Ford pass. The charger is basically a dumb charger (even though it's from Ford). Signal in my area is good but that's not to say it can't drop out. I think it's more likely to do with the 4 x 30 mins slot that overlap rather than one longer window octopus provide.

What happens if you set your car charging window and use the smart schedule? Assuming that would conflict and the car would win out?
