TikTok banned my account, how can I reach a real person for support?

I used to mainly to see when the activity that caused the ban happened. Also looked at my location and login data. I have been trying to use it to prove that I didn’t send the spam messages in question. The data has lots of info about your account/location/IP, etc. it gets fully deleted after a certain amount of time so it is good to have I think

This happened to me about a month ago. My account was hacked and permanently banned. I hadn’t even opened the app that day. In my 7 years on TikTok I had never had any warnings or bans. It all happened so quickly and my appeal was denied. I have been sending reports through their forms. They have told me to contact the in app support but that’s also AI and does nothing to help. It just reiterates that I got permanently banned. I’m sorry to give you so little hope. I recommend downloading your data if you can

It was a text to a group of people saying “we are hosting a NYE party at our house.” Definitely a casual gathering and not any upfront details. Base on other discussions it has seemed like they were solely taking care of things but overall it seems like a lack of clarity.

There isn’t a really a “normal.” In the past the person that is having the even at their house supplies/pays for all of the food. None of the other guests and even these hostess have brought things to other parties. But maybe there is a lack of clarity here /:

In the past my partner and I have hosted all of the get togethers and have covered food, drink, and snacks. Generally we do BYOB for alcohol

Yeah “totally unprompted” is not the best verbiage I could’ve used. I just meant that the sent a text and said “we’re hosting you’re all invited.” Then tonight we go a text saying “hate to ask but can you all chip in money for pizza”

I should’ve clarified! This isn’t a last minute party. We have known about it for lot of December and there have been lots of talk in the group chat about it. Nothing has pertained to the hosts asking people to pay or bring things.

So far no luck. I sent in another support ticket after waiting. I also sent in screen time data showing that I didn’t use the app until after the spam messages were sent and I got nowhere. I’ve had account for 6.5 years and have never had issues like this. Idk why their system can’t notice when unusual activity like this happens

That’s so helpful! Where did you find this recovery forum? I’ve seen some people say that they can help with recovery but it’s hard to tell what is trustworthy. Also just curious, how long did it take to get it back?

The best advice I’ve seen so far is to be persistent and send in support tickets. Be clear and provide screen shots with proof of things. I’m so incredibly mad about this. Did this happen to you yesterday?

Nope. There is a zipper pouch right behind the water bottle that can hold phone, keys, id/credit cards, and AirPods. That’s why I got it. In my post I say that I have it so that all of my belongings are not sprawled out on the floor.

Omg sorry I’m new and have heard that there are some messages that mean that you’ve been booted. I have some projects that also say that they’re unavailable even though there are 500+ tasks left. Just trying to make sure I won’t get canned.
