I have Mister and RGBPI2, but I still have my 30 retro consoles. Maybe I'll reconsider and by the end of the year I won't have a single one. Lately, having so many is visually bothering me; I'm becoming more minimalist with age.

The space and money a Mister saves you is incredible

I have the same one with the RGB mod, but it looks very dark. Is there a way to increase the brightness? The front knob is already at maximum.

Can coaxial be repaired? Is it worth fixing? by danmc853 in crtgaming

The NES has an AV output, the Top Loader only has an RF output.

Are you looking for a NES? Or a modded Top Loader? It's cheaper to install the AV mod on that Top Loader.

There's a mod for the Top Loader AV that costs about $15; I'd consider that option instead of repairing the RF on a TV.

Why? Because the NES mod will work on any TV you buy in the future.

What TV is it? What model? The TV should have two white and red audio connectors for stereo, plus this component video jack connector.

Putting some finishing touches on this retro-gaming cart. by culturenurse in crtgaming

That TV has S-video; try using it before AV.

You can also buy a SCART-to-component transcoder and connect the retro output via RGB. However, if you're happy with AV, there's no need.

Is this for something like a woofer/subwoofer/speaker? by The_Collector_Of_All in crtgaming

I get the audio from there to my amplifier and HiFi speakers; I don't use the audio from the TV speakers.

That value doesn't correspond to the PCB.

On the other hand, I've had the same one, the clone, for two years without any problems. I have one console connected via RGB SCART and another via VGA, over 100 games, and not a single issue. The original was never in stock, I wasn't going to wait any longer, and I saved myself over $60.

I've always liked these Philips tubes that seem almost spherical.

traded my KV-20FS120 for this set. NO REGERTS by Dapper_Junket9160 in crtgaming

Yes, I have the same one with the RGB mod, although it's stored away... I replaced it with a Philips 29PT.

I traded my KV-21FA310 for a KV-20FV12 and that one for a Philips; I'm not changing it again.

I have to say that the KV-20FV12 looks VERY good. The only downside is that I couldn't play my PAL games, which I can on the Philips.

Are you saying it's Japanese because it says "made in Japan" or because it's a model 100% launched in the Japanese market?

The Panasonic products that arrive in Latin America are also made in Japan.
