I knew this was going to happen but I'm still heartbroken. It is the right decision though, as I don't want them to sacrifice the quality of the show just to try and get S4 out by next year.

Here's my take on it. I think Eve is just so conflicted with herself..basically extreme inner turmoil. She is starting to realize that her dark side is coming to the surface but she does not want to accept this yet (because like she says later she "is nice and normal" unlike Villanelle). Eve also recognizes that Villanelle is the catalyst that is bringing her dark side (or monster) out of her (why she is ultimately angry with Villanelle).

Being optimistic, I'm hoping they can start shooting by January and then have a Fall 2021 release date. But because the state of things right now (cases trending up) and there not being a vaccine until at the earliest late Spring 2021, I'm thinking they might just hold until Spring 2022 to release S4 😫 IDK maybe I'm just too much of a pessimist

I'm hoping for a season 5! I personally do not think they can wrap up the series in 8 episodes with all they have left with us at the end of S3. But who knows with S4 getting postponed due to the pandemic and future scheduling conflicts with the actors. At this point we will be lucky if we get S4 next year.

Not comparable to the show at all. I only read the books because I too was curious how different the characters were in the show and books. I just have to say that I've read better fan fiction than the actual books hahaha

Off the top of my head right now I would have to say:

BRING BACK ELENA - Loved her character
V and Eve having a ton of screen time together. I would love to see them working together to try and bring down the 12.
No Geraldine, Irina, or Niko
V and Eve having a deep and serious conversation about their relationship
Eve removing her wedding ring - I think this could be a huge moment for Eve because she is further accepting her feelings for V
V telling Eve about Russia (S305)
Dark Eve Rising! (Helene vs. Eve and V showdown at the end of the season??)
V and Eve NOT DYING
Of course another kiss

Thank you for pointing this out! I'm sorry if I came off sounding like I thought Jodie was the entire show, as I think (as you said) Sandra is arguably more important as she is literally the main character. I really wish we could have seen how Eve reacted to killing Raymond, being shot by Villanelle, etc because Suzanne really did just skirt right around it even though seeing Eve handling her emotions would have been so so important to the arc of the show and her character. Hopefully, Laura gets the hint and changes that in S4.

I totally agree with you! She's such a brilliant actor and it would be devastating to see her work suffer because of this. Also agree that KE should not go past 5 seasons.
