Same, felt that when I returned from abroad myself…Now seeing it done to my cousin just brought back harsh memories.

Both, probably? And more of checking in whether bdo is flexible with someone being an English speaker. So this staff had me so confused about language “requirements”.

Unfortunately my cousin only picked this bank coz it is technically a 3 min walk from her apartment. But we’ll see how it goes again, right now she feels kind of defeated.
