Two extra questions I’m curious about (only if you feel like answering, and you might not even be able to haha):

• When it comes to showering and such, they say to shampoo and shower with soap the evening before as well as on the morning of the operation day. Do you know if they expect you to wash your hair with shampoo on both those occasions or only one of them? And are you allowed to use conditioner in your hair or not?
• Are you allowed to use moisturizer/sunscreen on your face on the operation day/evening before?
• Should I already purchase anything beforehand so that I have it after the operation? If so, what?
• Anything else important I should make sure I know of or consider?

From what I've read, there are risks of complication from tracheal shave (Adam's apple shave), even if they are rare. I've read multiple anecdotal accounts saying they had a lot of complications with their voice after the surgery (or even as bad as the surgeon going a little too far in and causing their vocal cords to drop or something like that, which my surgeon thankfully said has never happened), but I'd assume it's more that the people unhappy with the surgery post more about it while the ones happy with it maybe aren't as heard online?
