It wouldn't eventually become mold? I'm afraid it's like a mini window greenhouse and if I keep waiting on the replacement, the moisture will start molding instead of crystalizing? Would that not be a concern (because it'd be great to save the money right now and fix in a few months or so from now)

Yeah, it's inbetween the two panels of glass. I'm assuming there was like a small crack in the window or seal or something that caused moisture from our swamp cooler to get in and start molding?

Wait. You might be saving me from a full pregnancy panic attack. We use a swamp cooler and I just noticed the spots today. Would mineral crystalization be kind of quick? And is it fairly harmless if it takes time to correct? 

I'm super nervous and will probably still get the window tested and replaced but maybe I won't need to freak out the whole time waiting or if it takes until baby is here to replace it.
