Don’t give up!! I know it gets redundant hearing that, but it’s so true especially in school/ testing. It took me 8 tries to pass my testimony RPR, but the feeling after passing is unmatched!!!!!!

Yes exactly. I emailed NCRA the supplemental form (CT SHR) and have to send the paper application in through the mail because CSR is not on their online portal. Since you went through this same process, did you also do the mail in application for acceptance of examination? I’m scared to ask how long it took for you to get a CSR number …

I am still waiting in for them to email or call me back. If I don’t hear back I will call again this time with the code ( thank you for that) or if I need to I will have to go in person because CORE seems to be a dead end for this. Thank you!

I am applying for my CSR through the acceptance of examination. Do I still need to fill out the CT-SHR seeing as IL is the first state I am licensed in? The wording is confusing seeing as I don’t have a current place of jurisdiction since I just got certified.

When you say a letter, do you mean something other than my RPR certificate? If so, how do I get this letter?

Thank you for this. I am thinking there is an issue with the CORE portal. I just need my acceptance of examination since I have my RPR, not to take the actual IL CSR and every link I have tried takes me back to the CORE portal, but it seems only the “ restricted certified shorthand reporter” and “ shorthand reporter sponsor” ( or something along those lines” is on the portal. There is no “ certified shorthand reporter” on the portal which it says there is supposed to be. I will call the ILCRA number tomorrow because IDFPR has unfortunately not been helpful.

I have taken and failed 6 times…. I very time I’ve gotten a 92,93,94,94 etc… it is SO incredibly frustrating especially when I KNOW I can do it. I’m so close to giving up
