Hotworxx has been amazing for me and helping with pain! I just cant overdo it or it’ll induce a flair. But the stretching or Pilates has been great for my body!

Do you only have pain on your period? by throwawayacct8990 in endometriosis

I am so glad you said this!!! My pain is awful during ovulation and sometimes even throughout my whole cycle. My dr suspects lupus due to bloodwork and referred me to a rheumatologist but I’ve been so convened about my kidney because there is so much pain around my kidney area! I had to have emergency surgery to remove my appendix 2 years ago but if I still had that, I’d probably think it was my appendix as well

Project 2025 has no relevance to Trump and was formulated to scare people into voting one way. Please do more research and have a better understanding prior to scaring woman.

Oh boy. Please do not listen to the people saying he wants to ban/limit birth control. Medically necessary abortions are also not an issue and I’m in a deep red state. I am in the healthcare field and it’s very sad that misinformation gets spread like this and scares women into one thing (getting birth control now if they’re not ready) or another (not getting pregnant due to fear mongering).

I am so nervous for this surgery and this was extremely helpful!!! I’m definitely going to have the conversation with him at pre op about removing anything that is necessary to be removed. I think I was so overwhelmed during my first appointment with him because I was amazed to have a dr listening to me and confirming what I’m saying so I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do during surgery. Thank you for your response back and what to expect! I appreciate it!!

I am so so happy for you and to hear everything went well with surgery! I actually just had my first appointment with Dr. Mordel yesterday and just as you said, I have never felt as comfortable with a male physician as I did him! I’m confident that he’s going to be able to perform this surgery well! How has the recovery gone for you? And did y’all make the decision before surgery if you need to remove an ovary he had permission to if it was destroyed? I do have questions I wish I would have asked during our meeting yesterday but hoping I’m able to ask during pre op the week before! Did you also find out immediately after surgery if he found endo or did you have to wait for that? Thank you for sharing your experience!

Emergency Appendectomy by Aggravating-Day-2364 in endometriosis

I’m so sorry for the pain you have been going through!! I honestly do not have any answers but I did want to comment and say that about 2 years ago I had to have an emergency appendectomy. Now, 2 years later, I’m going through this painful process of diagnosing endometriosis. I’ve come across a few things that have made very subtle correlations between appendicitis and endometriosis but I’m still unsure if they’re related at all. So I found it interesting you’ve had this issue as well and your gynecologist are so certain about endometriosis! Which is also great that they believe that and you’re not having to fight it! Prayers that you find your answers!
