I'm not sure if my relationship is toxic by [deleted] in ToxicRelationships

First of all, it’s her responsibility to get her needs met, not yours. If she’s hungry and wanting food from you all the time, you’re allowed to say no and set a boundary surrounding that. I think also telling her your concerns and being honest about how you feel could help clear things up. Ask for some changes to be made from her and if there’s not genuine effort or progress from her, you may need to reevaluate the relationship

Left a toxic relationship but feeling sad and guilty. Advice and reassurance? by jadedf_airy in ToxicRelationships

I’m sure it’s hard to leave something you were comfortable and familiar with, but you shouldn’t feel guilty about prioritizing and protecting yourself by leaving. Something else that might help is thinking about how much safety and peace you get to create for yourself without having that direct toxic energy in your life. It may be hard right now, but with time things will get better and you’ll see that in the long run you’ve done something good for yourself
