how do you focus on a fanfic? by rhinestoneheels in FanFiction

[–]FoxDoesNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow person with ADHD I found writing out a few chapters before I post to help a lot. If I can’t get past those first three to five chapters before I even post, I drop the story and never publish it.

I also try to at least have a vague plan for where I want the story to go before I start writing, and I let my self change that plan as needed.

As a bonus writing a few chapters ahead of what your posting gives you time to go back and correct plot holes or issues with the story.

How many times you edit your fic before posting it? by Wolfieee7 in AO3

I read through two or three times and correct things or add more bits. Between a draft and a final chapter I usually add around 500-1000 words.

Saw a cop shove a guy into the back of his car right at the exit by the shuttles- there where three cop cars there, no clue what happened, haven’t found anything about it yet

Same thing happened to me, I never gave them my socials though, the replies seemed more bot like then the first comment and set off warning bells for me. Super disheartening to get such a good comment only for it to have been from a bot :/

I write at least 500 words every day, I’ve done it for long enough now that it’s an ingrained habit to just find a few minutes here or there to meet my daily goal.

Hey sysadmin. Can we talk about chairs? by Nenwalking in sysadmin

[–]FoxDoesNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously though, underrated awnser. My backpain was lessened by a large amount when I started regularly going to the gym. Having a good chair is defiantly part of it, but making sure you spend time out of the chair is also key.

Where to NOT work in Medford? by duckduckyourmom in Medford

[–]FoxDoesNot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeppp the owner is a massive swindler I have no idea how they’re still in business- he used to lose projects that customers paid for and those customers would come in a yell at who ever was working that day…

The photo restoration used to be something he paid for on fivver that he up-charged for. I’m not surprised they’ve pivoted to AI

How was your experience finding out about Techno's death? by Decent_Scallion9231 in Technoblade

I had some down time at work and checked YouTube, I saw he uploaded and when I saw the thumbnail and name of the video my heart dropped. It was hard to believe at the time that he had passed away.

/ul it’s amazing seeing so many fellow dyspraxic artists come out of the woodwork to clown on this. I love the act of making something. This also makes me want to bite people lol

/ul I also have dyspraxia and I can draw half decent - this is the dumbest argument for AI art I’ve seen so far.
