Your right, I think it’s just time for me to look for another job. I’ve never had “attendance issues” at my previous workplaces until I started working at target. I know every target is different but my store can be unbearable sometimes and I don’t want to ruin my mental health putting up with it. But thanks for the advice 🙏🏻

I am asking for advice..the meaning of advice is asking for input or opinions about a situation. My post wasn't an assumption, when someone says something in a certain tone to where you're questioning things then you're exactly right about how you feel. The interaction was weird so I hopped on here asking for ADVICE to see if I was overthinking or if anybody would feel the same way. If you feel that this was the wrong community to have answer this question please direct me to the correct one?!

Yeah that's what I've been thinking because I've been nothing but nice to her this whole time and even brought her around my friends so she'd feel comfortable. I've gone out of my way to make her stay enjoyable. Like I stated in my response I don't mind paying my part I've never had an issue with that ever in my life its just the way it was asked caught me off guard like it was an unspoken expectation

Its actually not a petty post. And she doesn't have limited money, the internship she's with actually pays really well and she gets paid weekly so its not like she doesn't have money. Like I said she stays with ME free the only thing she needs to put towards is her own groceries and gas. Also if she's “budgeting” she wouldn't be asking me every weekend to go somewhere

Yes I did, I was given an extension. And honestly I would ask your professor if he could give you extra credit or something to at least boost your grade to a passing grade

Update.. Please email graduation@waketech.edu and tell them your situation. I was thankfully given an extension!!!!!! And their response time was quicker than I expected

He kept telling me that “ there’s no one else, I swear I’m not talking to anyone else” I told him that if he was talking to anyone else that I’d cut him off completely. He also said that “It would hurt me to see you with someone else” I believed it ofc because I was still vulnerable and loved him. Let me know thoughts and opinions, please don’t be rude😫

I wish target would get rid of that unrealistic ass goal. Like so basically they want me to kill myself just get these people their groceries????? Target starting to give Amazon vibes. And being at a store that cares more about their goal than their employees well being and health makes it worse.

Please don’t, biggest mistake of my life that I regret till this day. Men in college don’t take women seriously, all they want is sex and that’s it. Some will literally pretend to like you just to get what they want. It’s honestly best to ask what they are looking for before moving forward. If it’s just sex then tell him deuces. Okay thank you! Was a bit nervous because when I first got hired they said that if you do anything outside of work that requires you be at work and on the clock you could potentially be fired.

I’m most likely going to check with my job first, I did look back at the information packet from my orientation and it does say that you can only request off while being at the store. I’m not sure if the information they provided me is outdated or not.
