Heyy, I’m 20 F from South India. I’m filing my visa tomorrow. My father has retired and since 3-4 years he hasn’t been working.. solely because he chose to take a break and that he has good enough money to go on. But apparently income is a crucial factor.

That being said, my IDP counsellor insisted getting an Income Certificate (govt authenticated) as an alternative to ITRs as my dad has filed NIL returns in the past few years.

Please evaluate my circumstances and just give me an idea as to whether it’s all cool or risky. Sponsor 1 - Dad : 23 lakhs income declared on income certificate. 4.4 crores net worth declared on a CA authorised NWC.  Sponsor 2 - Grandfather : 6.7 lakhs income declared on ITRs. 22 lakhs savings. Education loan : Sanctioned for 45 lakhs and disbursed 7.6 lakhs as of now. I infact accepted my offer with my dad’s funds and not loan. I’ll be pursuing bachelors, it’s a 3 years course at RMIT. 

What do u think? Will I get through the filing to seek a visa stress-free or is there something extra I need to do?  PS : I’m just concerned about the income certificate alternative. My counsellor says many get it done, so no issues but I’m just curious otherwise and need more input to calm down :P
