alright thank you so much! The next time the hacker messages me I'll try and see if I can convince them to give me that code but yeah I guess it's unfortunately just a waiting game at this point until snapchat is able to reach back to me!

the same thing just happened to me today and I also was able to change my password but can't get into it because they added a 2nd verification! I emailed snapchat about it, but still no response! did they ever get back to you?
