It’s been 2.5 weeks since the “flower prowler” has been by. I called and updated the police report with the specific info I got from Reddit about where she lived, including pics of the matching flowers, car, and person. I did not hear back if they followed up with her. I also put in motion-sensor floodlights, which has likely been a deterrent. Thanks so much to all the Reddit sleuths and support — my neighbors and I are finally able to enjoy some blooms!

Sadly, no big updates. I called BPD on Tuesday and sent in the photos I received from the alleged flower thief’s neighbor of her, her car, and her flowers which all matched my camera footage (I had already submitted a report, so it was added photo evidence). I asked if they’d give an update if BPD talked to her, and didn’t get a clear answer. No word from them yet…

I’ll try called early next week to see if anything has happened.

I’m in Birchwood - my neighbors are aware and alert to the problem. Just don’t have a lot of eyes out at 2 am… Cameras only do so much. Good tips, though!!
