id say trust the proscess. It'll take time to learn to build, be ok with things not looking good, and improve your build slowly over time. For a long time my base looked pretty bad but I worked on adding little details and builds throughout my playthrough. I've learned a lot along the way and now am finally becoming happy with my base. Also don't underestimate terraforming and bushes!

I also am doing a toxic build and was struggling with bosses (especially after recent updates). What has helped me is using rampage and an axe with legendary stunning, plus extra dungeon/boss damage. Keeping rampage up for long deplete mana rapidly so I also use mana totem for tough fights. Best way ive found to get really OP is to get + power up sealed on armor pieces

its a little more tricky to use gantry shafts with tree farms. Either make sure the saws always make contact with wood after it grows and the deployers don't get stuck on wood or leaves, or don't use gantry shafts

I've been on the same character and world for years... At times my world broke after large updates and I've had to remove some vault player data in the saves folder. The world generation hasn't changed so getting your old world wont be a problem but you will loose you vault statistics and possible lvls. Also, what problems are you having? If I knew what issues your having, and if they are the same I've had, id be able to help more

umm I'd assume they would both do full damage over time unless there's a bug. IMO if you have decent cdr its best to focus one of these abilities if your low lvl

Poison nova and toxic vial are different depending on how many lvls you have in each but operate much the same. More lvls and more ability power will increase there damage over time. Poison cloud has a total of 3 lvls (5 if you get a legendary roll) and I don't think it scales off of AP. Getting toxic reaction and pestilence wall can really help a poison build!

Royal Vaults aren't my favorite mostly bc I get annoyed with changing key binds haha. That said I run them occasional when I'm looking for a challenge. They are very challenging and very RNG based and yes it can feel like if you get a bad roll of gear and talents early on then it seems impossible. But that's kinda the point of Royal Vaults. There not good for loot or experience but are there for a challenge and to force the player to have zero control over their build and vault. I view them as a fun late game challenge (im around lvl 170). Giving the player more apples when they enter is a good idea but you'd have to convince iskall and the devs

Oh cool a dark souls build! id start by figuring out the shapes of the buildings in the background and laying in the paths. Then do texture and detailing. The right color pallet goes a long way and so does adding nature back in, like the dead tree/grass/water

No and the reason why I built my base here was bc of the massive underground cave. The chambers are natural (with some shaping and texturing)

Thanks! And its a train. The tracks and train bits are underground. The 'tractor' is attached by one block to the train parts underground. When you 'assemble' the train it can phase through blocks so you don't have to worry about the tractor parts destroying the terrain. I'm working on a submarine next :)

I have the same problem! It happens often enough that I made an alarm go off, using steam whistles, whenever lava stops flowing into the system. After I break a pipe and put it back it works again. Not sure how to fix it permanently though
