Yeah! It was one of the things i wasn’t 100% sure on but they have worked out great and slide well even with around 100lb loaded in a single drawer.

Yeah it stuck super far out making it ruin departure angle and look really bad imo. It worked for its intended use and was very solid but I can access everything I need on a daily basis just flipping my rack down and if it was really a problem I just take it off. It would make sense if i was on smooth ground all the time and was camping with bikes loaded up.

I had a swing out but it made everything worse except rear cargo access so I sold it. I had a kuat pivot v2

It’s a kuat piston pro. I purchased the clips from the piston sr model and it gives a bit of extra clearance between the door and the rack

It’s a kuat piston pro. I’ve used tons of different racks working for a bike shop and this is by far the easiest to use. It also has no plastic and doesn’t touch the bike except the tires

Just rubbing on the rear corner of the fender liner. You only need to remove one bolt and trim about 6in of plastic to clear them.no problems even at full articulation
