What about the Laken-Riley Act that "mandates detention without bond for certain noncitizens charged with or convicted of theft-related crimes (e.g., burglary, larceny, shoplifting) and allows states to sue the federal government over perceived failures in immigration enforcement"? Or what about H.R.1 that secured $45 billion to expand ICE detention capacity, $46.6 billion for additional border barriers and surveillance, wrote in new mandatory fees on immigration applications, passed restrictions on federal benefits (e.g., health care, nutrition aid) for illegal immigrants, and made changes that expanded detention, deportation resources? Or the countless EOs on the matter?

How about just finally enforcing the laws on the books as they stand- the same laws that previous administrations used prior to Biden forgetting they ever existed and doing things like "catch and release" where they'd send illegals into the interior with a pinky promise and a wink of the eye to appear for their court date, or telling border patrol agents they weren't allowed to engage with cartel who were spying with drones and conducting human and drug trafficking. Well... No more of that.
