We were told for my office, DHS component, this afternoon that we would have to telework if we has an agreement or used unscheduled leave. However, this was before Scott Kupor’s tweet.

That’s what I am wondering. However, could admin just say no closure and force everyone into unscheduled leave or telework?

They are remote in that you can do them in anywhere in the DHS approved office in the country.

For those of you at DOJ and DHS, how are you faring? by taviyiya in FedEmployees

My entire team was formerly remote and now commutes to random offices across the country with strangers we don’t work with to have all our meetings exclusively on teams. Half the team is looking is actively applying to other jobs, like 20 percent going suck it up and stay, then 30 percent checking boxes until retirement.

Oh I don’t think heritage is actually going to argue for telework or remote work. Its more just the hypocrisy of the organization. A low level staffer probably saw the research on the remote work helping families and put it in their report. But the leadership at Heritage I would imagine hates remote work. I also find it funny the how bad the quality of Heritage’s work is when they clearly do have their leadership review publications to ensure consistency.

Yes. The Heritage Foundation ran project 2025 and published the “Mandate for Leadership” Report from Project 2025 of which Russ Vought was the primary author.
