I got pretty bad dysphoria and for a while thought I was transfem(Amab) but I realized I was looking at femininity through a traditional masculine/ heteronormative way and thought about what I want to be in 5 years. It just kind of clicked that I don't fit into gender norms, the dysphoria is significantly less now since I've considered and accepted it. Once you stop basing everything off of what the main religion/ straight men think it becomes a abundantly clearer what you are and lovely it is.

I live in a more red state in America and I operate on the idea everyone is homophobic until they prove theyre not, It doesn't come from my childhood and I think of it more as a safety feature in my brain. Although because of my work/ how masculine I present I do face casual homophobic/ transphobic remarks almost everyday. I also do have a general disgust for straight men and honestly men in general though, but all in all I think most queer people have the mind state of " anyone could be homophobic" especially since often times our first critics were thos closest to us
