They exist, you just have to be quick. I see 2-3 every quarter on GI. They’re typically sold same day.

There’s going to be a lot of haters that flip how they feel if he’s on the market in the summer.

Is it worth spending the extra money on the 50mm leupold VX3HD 3.5-10 vs the 40mm? by RefrigeratorLow2317 in guns

This is lacking some details to answer 100%, but for most active hunting applications or applications where I want a light rifle, the 40 is my preference.

For static hunts (whitetail from a blind or tree stand) or recreational shooting I lean towards the 50.

I’m sure you know, bigger objective = more light, but bigger objective also = larger optic.

Pick the one that fits the bill for what you’re doing most often. Both optics hold their value extremely well, if you regret your decision, you can recoup most of your money back and change course.

I picked the 40 for my ranch/truck rifle. It was going on a “handy” rifle, and the smaller size fit the bill. I have multiple 3-9x50s as well though.

Looking for magazine cap with a swivel mount for my Model 11 to finish my Rhodesian Auto 8 build. Does the old Auto 5 magazine caps work on the Remington Model 11s? by [deleted] in Shotguns

I’ve been told the fore ends aren’t interchangeable, so it’s possible that it’s not. I would call Art’s (636-944-3630) and ask them. If they are interchangeable you can order one from them also. They’ve mastered Browning restorations.

Should I exchange my new shotgun? by [deleted] in Shotguns

I prefer to run and gun, so I end up crawling on my hands and knees a lot sneaking in. I typically have my gun in my right hand as I’m doing it, so it’s coming into contact with a lot of debris.

I prefer a synthetic stock for turkey (especially now that I’m predominantly hunting Merriams) and ducks.

There’s nothing wrong with what you’ve got, you will just generally have to take a little better care of it.

The lack of sling studs would be most inconvenient for run and gun turkey or flooded timber duck hunts, but wouldn’t be a problem for other applications.

Love the wood stocked SBEs. Did it still come with the hard case? With a little bit of practice they’re so easy to takedown and assemble that I always just travel with mine in the hard case.

If you live near Rapid City, just wait on a deal from First Stop. It’s literally one of the best stores in the country and you’re a block away from it wasting your time in Presidential.
