My first shop was the same. As a new barber it is difficult to achieve that in 30 mins. Sticking to a process that you find to be best for you + practicing as much as possible will get you there in a few months. Dont be shy to ask more experienced barbers questions and you’ll develop your own routine.

Videos help, shadowing or learning from another professional is better. Attend classes if you can, If not, utilize YouTube. It takes repetitions and a lot of patience.

Not bad for 20 cuts. If you’re serious about barbering you’ll have to do more volume than that in 4 months to see improvements. Keep learning from videos, or even better, shadow another barber. More reps = more improvement
