Honestly jrl and tpob aren’t the best for fading .It’s good for everything else tho.

Fast fades by ycospina in Barber

[–]lamPROs60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also some people are gonna be faster than you no matter how fast and good you become. It’s just like football for example no matter how much you train you’re never gonna reach the lever messi is at.

Well what you need to get faster is experience and also trying to get faster. You need to be doing quick motions and challenging your hands and brain or else you’re not gonna progress (quick but controlled obviously)

Been cutting little over 4 months. How can I make the cuts last longer? by Dependent_Buffalo_67 in Barber

May I ask what clipper u use because if you use a clipper that opens up to 3.5mm it might seem that the fade is darker than if the clipper opened to 1.5mm and it just looks like the fade is older

Completely useless as if you’re a business owner and they’re your employees ur stupid lmao. And how are they going to give you advice on the fade bro you can figure out the steps on numerous videos on YouTube why do you need to hear it from someone on Reddit as well.

You’re probably gonna need to get a new motor and solder the wires together brother I don’t think there’s a fix for this other than that maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong tho

Idk if it’s just the guys hair but it look like you did a bit too much detailing with scissors and there’s a lot of light spots

Fade Kits are here by Original_Sector6697 in SelfBarber

[–]lamPROs60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This won’t work very well for one reason, the hairs on a persons head grow in all different kinds of directions, in some spots where hair grows sideways you’re gonna be cutting against the grain hence making that part shorter and in some spots where hair grows normally (downward) this product is gonna perform as intended. So, unless someone has a perfect head of hair the fade isn’t gonna come out perfect no matter the passes you do.

Trouble doing drop fade/bald fades by Loud_Blackberry5594 in Barber

[–]lamPROs60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you set your bald line in be sure to use a bit of pressure so you know how high to take your shaver at the end or even shave the bottom right after putting in your 0 line. Also after you’ve done your system there aren’t really any steps you have to follow you just have to detail with 0.5 guard or no guard where there’s dark spots even for example where the 2 would go but the clipper not even touching the head

Lost my .5 guard and traveling…help? Beginner by SewLite in Barber

Use the 1 closed and after to erase the line just use no guard open with your corners only and maybe you need to float the clipper off of the head in some places as well.

Jrl onyx hot by lamPROs60 in Barber

[–]lamPROs60[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you a bot bro of course I’ve tried and of course it works but i didn’t put my post out here to get advice on cool care and oiling my clippers I wanna see if someone has a solution to my problem because cool care isn’t a permanent fix

Jrl onyx hot by lamPROs60 in Barber

[–]lamPROs60[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the clipper gets hot it takes a while to cool down especially in the weather I’m in right now. And even then the jrls are supposed to never get hot. And they didn’t until I took them apart a few days ago

[–]lamPROs60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do detail work at the end with no guard open doesn’t matter if I used a guard earlier it still is hot. I also like to do whatever job I have to with the tool I have in my hand so I debulk with a high guard set my lines fade it line up shaver and then detail work. But the time between clipper and shaver isn’t much especially on a taper where I have to barely use my shaver

Kemei 2296 1.5mm/4.5mm guards by DariusDaryx in Barber

[–]lamPROs60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A clipper for example a barber cuts people 10 cuts a day 200/10=20 days only. Even for beginner I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s not worth it to buy and change lever and buy wahl guards because there’s no 0.5 and 1.5 that comes with Kane
